Part 1: We engaged Darren at Web X Design Studio to revamp our current web site and also to change our web site hoster. Darren provided us with many recommendations to get the best out of our new web site and perhaps more importantly how to get the best out of Google. He guided us on what features we should consider, and even though we were going to take an alternative path, he proved to be correct when we discovered that his way did work best. To ensure that we had some knowledge on how to maintain the site, Darren recorded several videos and then followed these up with video conference calls In all of this there were some glitches that needed to be fixed, and Darren was extremely quick to either fix them himself or find an alternative way of coding the site to get around the problem. Darren worked tirelessly and from our first discussion with him to the site going live took only 10 days. We were extremely pleased with the work that Web X Design did and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Part 2: So five months down the road, we thought we'd update this review with real-life results. Our online enquries and orders have increased dramatically. What should be noted is that we are now receiving orders from all around the UK - something that we never experienced using our old website. During this period we added and refined some features, again, Darren was very quick to implement the software changes. We believe that the uplift in business is not only due to the website design but as we stated earlier, Darren's knowledge of how to work best with Google. I tasked Darren at Web X Design Studio with the building of a website from scratch for my new product L’Chaim! I gave Darren a very limited indication of what I wanted as to be honest, I was not too sure myself, I did however tell him what I would like to achieve from the website and how I envisioned it would perform for me. Darren took my limited brief and very quickly put together a sample site which enabled me to have a vision of how I wanted the site to look. The efficiently that Darren works at is second to none, I could not get my content across to him quickly enough! It was really rewarding seeing the site take shape so rapidly and being able to review and feedback on such a regular basis. It didn’t matter that I made multiple changes of mind on images used, headings and the like… Darren took everything in his stride. Darren put together instructional videos for me on how to use the back end of the website and update it myself, he employed numerous techniques to ensure I could provide feedback and ideas to him as well as content, whether it be using a shared Dropbox or Mark Up plus I was able to send information to him through the more standard email and even Facebook messenger, whatever was most convenient for me at the time. Darren provided a range of ideas and solutions for certain elements of the website and how it could work, not only providing sample visuals for me but also relevant industry information to support why some ideas would work over others, this included the use of flip books to showcase my work (helping me to deliver my message), moving images in place of video content which I am yet to create, and adding a second language into the homepage. Darren has been extremely supportive in sourcing and setting up the domain name, email account and analytics even providing the information on how to link (where relevant) to my phone. I would not hesitate to recommend Darren and Web X Design Studio to anyone, I can highly recommend a true platinum level and personal service. I have certainly received a top quality and high performing website which works beautifully across all devices, a very happy client indeed!
